  You will need to file your business with your state, get a sales tax license, need a federal ein number.

  In response to your questions…
  Take small leaps rather then large leaps… its best to be safe then sorry!
  Firstly, don’t rely on family members and friends that think you should go into business. They love you and for that reason alone should not a measurement to business success. Instead, rely on people unrelated to you. Let them to tell you whether or not you should go into business.
  Rather than pure a lot of money into a dream, you should test your market.
  Questions…
  Is your product unique, one of a kind, and nobody sells it?
  If you don’t know the answer want to find out, then the Internet to research.
  1. Enter the keyword for the type of product you are selling
  See if anyone else manufactures it or sells it. This is your competition.
  2. Enter the same keyword followed by the name of your state or province. This is your local competition. You may try a City search as well. You should study your competitors and know their weakness that you can provide. Could make a better product? What makes yours different from the rest? Why should people buy from you and not the other companies? What are all the benefits if someone buys from you? Who’s your market… what age… what gender… what income bracket, etc.
  These are only a few thoughts because you will need to market the product to a greater number of people… excluding just family and friends. Don’t get me wrong they be of big help to you, just by word of mouth alone. Do have a digital camera to take pictures of your products you’vre created. Start a catelog.
  Take the BIG plunge and advertise locally (i.e. newspaper, flyers, telephone book, etc.) You don’t need to go into business yet. So don’t worry about a busines name, incorporating, accountant, lawyer, etc. So far you have taken this to be your hobby. Now you need to test the market further.
  Come up with a name for yourself that’s easy to remember. Worry about a real business name. Try to use your first or last name or middle name also.
  For example: Lori’s Jewelry; Pennington’s Rings ‘n Things
  You have to find out is there an actual demand for your products. If other people and companies are selling your type of product, then obviously there is a demand. But know the strength and weaknesses of your product, as well as your competitiors. Got it?
  3. Let’s say you have something that people want. Now you have a demand for it. You want to sell your product on and off the Internet. You need to learn Internet marketing. This will help you to research your market — using internet marketing and niche marketing skills. You need a successful proven system to help you succeed online. You need to learn how to beat out your competition, large or small.
  4. By all means you will need a website. Not any website but one that is designed for your, yet easy enough that can create it yourself. You need pre-designed, automated, income-generating ecommerce website. It must be user-friendly, customer-friendly and search engine-friendly. The latter means your website is designed to receive free traffic from search engines such as, Google, Yahoo!, MSN. etc. You can also learn eBay and other auction sites.
  I know for a fact and have read many success stories about families working from home and making a great living. If have family members that some time maybe thery can helpy puch this along much faster. Not to say that all families can work together but something to thinks about. You have lot to learn and much to do. Especially learning the internet and of this I am telling you.
  If you are going to manufacture the product yourself, do the shipping and handling, packaging, handle billing and invoices, advertising cost and other cost, then ask yourself this one important question. “Am I willing to work day and night until I have succeeded”?
  Now if there were 100 people that put in orders at the same time, will you be able to make shipment and have orders at their homes within 3 business days… 4 business days… 5 business? No more than that! Remember, find out how long it takes your competitors to make shipment. Because this is your prospective will surely go, if you don’t handle this right.
  Rather then to write a book on this topic, I’ll just direct to the sources to get you started. One about starting a business, if takes aweful lot of research. Use the Internet to learn.

  Its different for different people.For me google adsense worked.
  Try Google advertisements system.Be patient,be tactful and be sure of the cheques.These are the rules.
  I never beleive the suryey system and the data entry works on net.I bliv in start earning without spending a single penny.

  If you make a website and sell online you don’t really need alot of legal stuff. You just keep all your receipts for taxes.
  So, you basically just need a website, business cards and you need to advertise. You may want to also check into business insurance.

  A lot of people conduct business from home and just report their earning with a simple home and business tax program you can buy around tax season. Get a web site and take pictures of your work and advertise by bulletin boards refering to the site for more information, and a sample pic on your flyer.
  Until you become a much larger business, keep as many expenses down as you can.
