I started a diet a week ago. I've been eating mostly salad, yogurt and granola. Once I start to see results, I think it will be easier for me to keep up with it but right now it's hard to keep dieting without seeing why I'm doing it. How much longer with the same eating habits before I start to see the difference?

Overall I'm in good shape I just can't get rid of the little pouch beneath my belly button. I've been doing crunches, but the pouch is still there. Any other suggestions on exercises and diet tips and lypo is not an option.
