What is a good yet affordable laptop/notebook/netbook ?
Im looking to buy a laptop preferbly a notebook or netbook. Ive been doing some research and some good ones yet affordable ones (Im only 15) is Inspiron Mini 10v. I do like this one although I dont want to just panic buy. What would be another good one that is decent sized (not small or big) has good performance, and is affordable? Im also a big fan of tablet pcs so if any ideas on that

I like the Acer AspireOne Netbooks. I got one for my Wife and she loves it. It is the 10.1″ screen version and it really works nicely, very fast too, surprisingly. I really like it and you can get them fairly cheap and if don;t mind refurbs you can get them for under 0 with WinXP. If you don’t mind Linux the MSI Wind is also an excellent deal.

just wondering. my mom has a trailblazer and my dad has a lumina. they already have full coverage. my question is do they have to add my the insurance or since i have my drivers lisence i can start driving. my mom said that im already insured because it already has full coverage is that true or does she have to add me or what???

No, they have to add you to their policy. If they dont and let you drive their car regularly then it is considered insurance fraud

can anybody guide me how affiliate marketing works? If suppose I put some affiliate links on my website, how would I know if a person has clicked my referral links. Is there some way to know this? Can a company cheat with its affiliate marketing program by not giving payment? How will I keep a track on the no. of visitors following my referral links? I hope you getting my point.

All I know is that you need to get a conversion tracker. Google adwords has this. This tells you what adwords are being used to get people to your site and buying the product. It gives you a conversion rate. This is the number of potentiall visitors performing the desired action, like buying your product, or some other goal of your web page.
Also you need to research the company before you become an affiliate. You definitely don’t want to go into a company that will cheat you. Try looking up the company on BBBonline. I don’t know the exact web address so you will have to put that into the search engine and the website will come up. Then you can read the report for that particular company.
Have you thought about working for clickbank? I dont know how to earn money through ebay. What I do know is going through ebay can be a hassle. You have to pay ebay a fee for posting, you have to worry about shipping costs, paying a fee for a paypal account, if Im not mistaken and worrying about fraud. Some people have been successful with E-bay so it’s all up to the individual.
I found out alot about affiliate marketing just by googling it and reading about it. Then several people that sell money making software and e-book tutorials will pop up too. I recently bought Profit Praxis for because I’m a noob. It’s hard to understand it though. But at least most of these people offer a money back guarantee and that’s what you want to look for if you do buy these e-book tutorials.

It is really a personal preference. I have both, (an iMac desktop and a vaio laptop). I personally like the mac a little better. Part of that has to do with the operating system though. Maybe Windows 7 will be better than Vista (it is a freaking resource hog).

Most reputable art schools require a portfolio. Parsons is a top-tier design school, so it would be safe to assume that they do. FIT, RISD, SCAD, and FIDM all prefer applicants to present a portfolio with their application. Your chances of being accepted are much higher when admissions has samples of your work to judge. RISD and SCAD aren’t necessarily fashion schools, but I know that RISD has a very strong design program. Good luck with your portfolio!

I don’t know what is a good program for that. I made the mistake of downloading them a long time ago and I got nothing but malware, spyware and I believe, a virus, too, and that was from a ‘free’ emoticons site, though I forget the exact name of it. Just be VERY careful where you download programs from, whether they be wallpapers for your desktop, emoticons, mouse cursors, antispyware, etc. The ONLY site I trust to download anything from is cnet.com. They may have something on there regarding mouse pointers – couldn’t hurt to check it out, eh? Hope this helps.

I bought a brand new hp computer over a month ago. Is turning it off every night bad for the computer or should the computer be left on 24-7. I have heard both ways. Any computer techs answers would be appreciated.

If you use it ever day, then just leave on, if several days
go by between uses, turn off.
The only thing bad about running 24/7 is the heat it puts into the room.

for windows:
if you’ve already deleted them they might still be in the recycle bin. empty your recycle bin. or you can go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup to clear temporary files and compress old files. after disk cleanup choose Disk Defragment to further clean your system. this will take a while so close any running programs.
